We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D models and programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software. You will collaborate with engineers, machinists, and project managers to ensure high-quality and efficient production of components and tooling.
- Create and modify detailed 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Generate CAM programs for CNC milling, turning, and EDM machines using software like Mastercam, Fusion 360, or Siemens NX.
- Optimize tool paths and machining processes for efficiency and quality.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to resolve design and manufacturing challenges.
- Maintain documentation and records of designs, revisions, and programs.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in CAD/CAM design and CNC programming.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Knowledge of post-processing and G-code customization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or production scheduling tools.
