Co-Founder & Head of Management

Sheryl Tan

Sheryl is not only Ray’s wife but also the co-founder of Shue Guitars. Together, they began their journey in 2008, often working side by side from morning until the next morning to build the business from the ground up. Sheryl’s dedication was remarkable—she even worked late into the night during her first pregnancy to keep things moving forward. Today, she leads the company’s staff and management with the same resilience and commitment, ensuring the team runs smoothly and the vision of Shue Guitars continues to grow.

Head of final assembly & Qc department, r&d specialist

Jeffery Wan

Jeffery has been part of the Shue Guitars family for over eight years. He’s the steady hands behind our guitar assembly, setup, and quality control, and also lends his ideas to our R&D. Born in 1998, Jeffery’s passion for guitars is matched by his love for car modifications, GT sports, and martial arts—he’s even a black belt in karate. He graduated in Western cuisine, and outside of the workshop he’s a big fan of Stephen Chow’s humor and Bruce Lee’s discipline. Known for his OCD-level attention to detail, Jeffery pours his dedication and responsibility into every instrument, making sure each Shue guitar is ready to inspire.

Head of Finishing Department

Tim Mao Yee

Tim leads our finishing department with a passion well beyond his years. Born in 1999, he has spent the past eight years with Shue Guitars, exploring every aspect of finishing techniques and constantly finding new, innovative ways to bring out the beauty of each instrument. Though still young, Tim has a remarkable eye for color mixing and matching, giving every guitar its unique character and depth. His creativity and dedication ensure that every Shue guitar not only sounds exceptional but also looks stunning.
