Martin Leung, widely known as Ah Kai, is the founding guitarist, arranger and record producer of iconic Hong Kong pop-rock band Supper Moment. Founded in 2006 with bandmates Sunny, CK and Hugh, Supper Moment grew from Hong Kong’s indie underground scene into one of the most influential rock acts in the Greater Bay Area.

 As the band’s lead guitarist, Martin shapes Supper Moment’s signature guitar tone, taking charge of lead performance, musical arrangement and studio production. His playing style blends pop rock, funk, blues and folk-rock, balancing lyrical delicacy with raw stage power. He can deliver soaring rock lines as well as warm, clean melodic phrases for ballads. 

Beyond live performance, Martin is an experienced studio producer. He participated in recording and producing band albums including Everything Is You and 19 Moment. He also works as arranger and producer for multiple Chinese artists, and has hands-on experience in studio acoustic design, instrument tracking and post-production. He spends extensive time researching guitar tone, pickup characteristics, amplifiers and signal chains, chasing authentic, transparent musical expression. 

Supper Moment’s well-known hits include Endless, Youngster, Song of Happiness, The Last Dinner and Kite. The band has headlined three sold-out concerts at Hong Kong Coliseum, performed at major events such as Summer Sonic and the Greater Bay Area Movie & Music Gala. They have won numerous awards, including CRHK Ultimate Group Gold Award, four consecutive “My Favourite Group” honours and Global Chinese Golden Song Award. 

Martin believes music should be like supper: essential spiritual nourishment for everyday life. He keeps exploring the boundaries of guitar tone and creative arrangement.In 2026, Martin Leung (Ah Kai) officially joins Shue Guitars as our endorsed artist for China Region.
